Sean is certainly the heart of The Limbic System. He was born in Devon, has lived and worked in London for 10 years and has been the drummer of choice for such players as John Etheridge and Alex Maguire

HARRY'S OTHER BANDS

CONSPIRACY OF EQUALS
One of 2006's hottest contemporary improvisation ensembles. Signed to Leo Records in June 2006, new album released December 2006.

Recorded live in Totnes last year, The Conspiracy of Equals, featuring members of the Bird Architects, Lymbic System and celebrated bassist Pete Brandt, released their first CD on the international label Leo Records on December 4th 2006.

Conspiracy of Equals is an hour of free wheeling collective improvising at the highest level, from Harry Fulcher (tenor Sax, clarinet), Aaron Standon (alto sax, guitar),
Pete Brandt (acoustic bass) and Marco Anderson (traps and hand percussion). Recorded direct to 2-Track DAT live at the Arial Centre Totnes last year and edited by Marco Anderson, it careers wildly between the funky, bluesy, and downright groovy to the madly swinging and chilled out mountain top vibe.

THE LEVELLERS
I played with The Levellers at the climax of The Beautiful Days Festival 2007 and they subsequently asked me to be "the guvnor" of their horn section for future live gigs including The Beautiful Nights tour in 2008. It is a thrill to join my old friends at such a great time in their lives.

THE TRIO
The 2007 trio draws upon a pool of favourite players: Dhevdhas Nair (piano), Neil Burns (guitar), Chris Jones, Marcus Vergette and Mike Thorn (double bass). It's a very intimate line-up which allows great communication between the players. We play mostly standards but when the gig allows we play modern and original compositions. We have a regular Sunday residency at Dusters Bistro in Salcombe every Sunday from April through to September.

THE QUARTET
Same as the trio really but with a drummer! Default drummers are Sean Willmott and Dave Sheen.

THE SEXTET
The Sextet exists to include Ken Church, one of the UK's best vibraphone players. I love playing with Ken but the UK's prevailing sense of "jazz arithmetic" doesn't provide many opportunities for a band this big.

MAS BAJO
The royalty of groove! Mas Bajo is a Salsa/Latin/Fusion band. We play dance music drawing upon afro-cuban & latin music laced with liberal amounts of funk and jazz.

TOTNES JAZZ COLLECTIVE
The TJC isn't a band, it is a collective of contemporary jazz musicians who put on monthly gigs. The gigs mostly feature bands lead by members of the committee. I have been an enthusiastic committee member for a long time and thank the TJC for all the wonderful, adventurous performances I have taken part in.

REV HAMMER : FREEBORN JOHN
Freeborn John is the name of an album by Rev Hammer about the life of John Lilburne, a radical C17th politician active during the time of the English civil war. The album was made at Horsecombe Studio in Salcombe, also the home of The Limbic System album, and I was involved from day two as a musician and friend. It draws upon a cast including The Levellers, Maddy Prior, Eddi Reader and members of The New Model Army amongst others. We always knew it would make a great show ("rock opera") and we proved that in August 2005 on our own dedicated stage at The Beautiful Days Festival. The show earned standing ovations from a crowd of thousands on three consecutive nights. I believe utterly in the music and the relevance of John Lilburne's story to contemporary English politics.
2008 promises much more exposure for this great work!

HELEN BRADSHAW
"DID CUPID DIE?" Album released July 2006 on Limbic System Music
I am completely blown away by Helen's songs and voice. I blagged the best musicians I know to develop my arrangements and productions of her songs.
It's a beautiful album!
